Process Engineer ID 2024-4230 Category Manufacturing Type Regular Full-Time Job Description Position: Process Engineer Primary Location: Anacortes, WA Schedule: M-F Reports to: Operations Manager Compensation: $95,000-105,000 + bonus, + benefits (salaried, exempt) Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. About This Role and You The Process Engineer at our Anacortes, WA Sulphur production facility will observe plant areas for opportunities for improvement through the use of technical/analytical tools and prepare technical reports including recommendations for modifications. They will also participate in team problem solving and goal setting activities for departments as well as providing expertise to resolve technical issues. The Process Engineer will also act as plant coordinator of process safety management program including HAZ-OPS, Management of Change (MOC), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering degree from an accredited university with 0-3 years of experience in process engineering and design. Ability to travel 10% of the time mostly in the United States, but could include Canada Proficiency in Process design, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization Knowledge of Process Safety Management elements to guide and initiate/monitor/audit site safety in a chemical process environment. Demonstrated commitment to employee health and safety. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Implements systems to comply with OSHA PSM to guide and initiate/monitor/audit site safety. Works with cross functional departments at the site level. Knowledge of process controls, Programable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributive Control System DCS.
