Heidelberg Materials is seeking a responsible, safe, and dependable Water Truck Operator to join our local team. As a Water Truck Driver you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water truck around our quarry/pit in Spyhill Calgary.

What You'll Get To Do

• Operate the water truck to maintain road conditions in a safe manner

• Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity and minimize wear and down time

• Operate other mobile plant equipment as needed (ie. Rock Truck, Loader)

• Work in all areas of the plant as needed

• Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2 years prior class 3 truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred

• Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products is an asset

• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
