Our internship program allows you to gain hands on experience while participating in critical business projects aligned with department and company goals. Integers Internship program goal is to attract and develop self-motivated individuals who are highly skilled and passionate about a career in medical device manufacturing while providing a foundation for future success within the organization. As an intern at Integer you will be exposed to a challenging professional work experience in medical device manufacturing with this position focused on mechanical design of equipment and automation. You will have the opportunity to interact and network with many levels and groups of Engineering and manufacturing associates and management. Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. You will be expected to work together with fellow Integer associates to develop and present solutions to relevant manufacturing and operational challenges. Supports department in a variety of daily tasks. Learns to work in a collaborative team environment. Participates in and contributes to Associate meetings. Assists team in identifying process improvements. Learns process and procedures relative to business operations. Participates in departmental projects aligned to company initiatives. Performs other duties as required. Education & Experience: Minimum Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field. Prefer in Junior year of college or later in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering. Knowledge & Skills: Special Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization skills. Ability to follow written and verbal direction. Experience with Solidworks CAD software. Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of business ethics.
