Emerson Procurement Operations Manager in CIUDAD DE MEXICO, Mexico
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supplier Enablement
Lead the purchasing team in validating purchasing requirements to qualify suppliers
Onboard suppliers and execute supplier master file management
Oversee catalog enablement within procurement systems
Ensure contracts are effectively enabled for purchasing and invoicing
Transactional Procurement
Monitor the generation of procurement reports to examine transactions for discrepancies, and noncompliance issues to support monthly reporting
Monitor and manage procurement transactions in coordination with all buyers
Monitor for the correct and compliant use of procurement systems working with the Buyer Team Leaders to develop, monitor, and improve the functions reporting and operating capabilities
Purchasing Transactions Management
Monitor and maintain effective requisition and purchase order processing
Review and approve spot buy execution within the spot buy team
Team Development & Supervision
· Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, communicating clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing performance, and providing coaching
· Ensure funding & approvals for employee training based on program requirements and continuous people development
· Identify opportunities to involve others in new and challenging work assignments and/or rotations that advance the skills and capabilities of individuals and the organization
· Manage resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day-to-day administration of processes
· Conduct performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement
· Make salary and bonus recommendations based on employee feedback & performance
· Support HR with talent selection, retention, and development to maintain appropriate staffing for Emerson procurement

· Requirement : Bachelor’s degree
· Preference : Master’s degree
Skills and Experience
· Requirement : 5+ years of experience within procurement
· Preference : 7+ years of experience within procurement
· Requirement : 3+ years of experience in supervisory roles
· Preference : 5+ years of experience in supervisory roles
