The DEN Great Hall Program is a large, multi-year construction upgrade program within an occupied international airport located in Denver, Colorado. The role of Cost Estimator within DEN’s Program Management Team (PMT) will support DEN’s Great Hall Completion Program and report to the Program Controls Manager. The Cost Estimator will review and validate CM/GC estimates, subcontractor award recommendations, and change requests. The Cost Estimator will work closely with the CM/GC construction team and their subcontractors. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Review CM/GC subcontract pricing and recommendation throughout the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) process.

  • Review and validate CM/GC change requests.

  • Develop independent cost estimates as needed.

  • Maintain organized and detailed files, project records and logs.

  • Attend project meetings as required.

The base salary range for this position is $103,600 – $161,850. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • 6 years of estimating experience.

  • Bid evaluation and negotiation experience.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.

  • Vertical construction experience.

  • CM/GC Contract experience.

  • Electrical and/or mechanical estimating experience.
