Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer - Level 2 - Build Lead in Fort Worth, Texas

You will be the Hardware Engineer for the Fabrication Team. Our team builds the products.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Hardware Engineer you will lead a team of technicians in building, maintaining, integration and testing of various electronic equipment racks, which make up the customer requirements. You will also schedule and participate in Capital Research & Design projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate with design engineers for both mechanical and electrical design drawings and wire routing list in order to fully understand the scope of the project and to do detailed planning of tasks for program projects.

• Provides inputs for engineering estimates and schedules

• Task activities for technicians, engage with technician training, and work with Management in the execution of project programs.

• Schedule performance as it relates to SST build projects

• Attending status meetings

• Report the metrics on the projects to internal and external customers

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

• AA Technical Degree or above or Non-technical AA degree combined with relevant experience.

• Experience in electrical rack build methods, ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics or work in process concepts.

• Experience in simulation/test equipment (e.g. Simulated Cockpits, Computer Systems, Visual Systems, etc...)

Desired Skills:

• Possess a general knowledge of Fabrication of electrical/mechanical assemblies and understanding of engineering drawings.

• Project Management skills are highlight desired. Understanding of Aviation industry standards and how they apply to military applications.

• Experience in computer applications involving spreadsheets and/or databases and Lead experience

• Great communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
