Aerotek is currently partnering with a company in McDonough, GA who is looking for a Lead Machinist and a manual machinist to start ASAP!

Shift: 1st (Lead), 2nd (Manual)

Description:

Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job

Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components

Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials

Finish projects using manual tools

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order

Manual Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:

Machinist vocational certificate or completed industry apprenticeship

3-5 Years experience

Manual dexterity

Lathe machining experience

Mill machining experience

Blueprinting reading skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent

Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly

Working knowledge of safety protocols

Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
