Dynamic and growing private equity firm based in Houston, Texas is adding an Operations Analyst to the team. Our client is dedicated to delivering superior results for our investors through strategic investments and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Accounting or Finance and possess excellent analytical skills. The Operations Analyst will work closely with the Director and Associate Director of Operations to support various aspects of our investment activities.

Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Finance team on reporting and analysis

• Assist with fund raising activities, due diligence, and legal negotiations

• Work on valuation of portfolio companies and assist in putting together portfolios and investment packages

• Support the Operations team in day-to-day activities and special projects

• Conduct research and analysis to support investment decisions

• Assist in the development of financial models and presentations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investment activities

  Requirements

Operations Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• 2-3 years of experience at an investment manager, investment bank, accounting firm, consultant, or placement agent

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to think on your feet
