The qualified candidate must have strong leadership and program management experience and direct business development experience during their career, with the ability to generate project leads, build client relationships, and win work.

Responsibilities are as follows: Serve as project manager on large and complex projects with multi-discipline project teams Serve as project principal, supervising less experienced project managers on smaller less complex projects Supervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure project Supervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities Supervise and direct construction engineering support services. Lead the technical development of proposals Serve as account leader responsible for creating and growing relationships with one or more clients We invite applications from candidates with the following experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar) Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Colorado 15+ years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility clients Experience with Denver Water is preferred, but not required Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water or wastewater treatment plants 5+ years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams 5+ years experience in managing proposals for engineering projects Experience in managing and growing client relationships.
