Role Summary:

Baker Hughes offers an opportunity for a Customer Order Specialist for the Chemical & Industrial Services team to be based in Kirby, UK

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Order Management – Purchase requisition conversion, customer order contract review, managing front end design changes, issuing delivery ticket and shipment instruction

  • Lead weekly/bi-weekly engagement calls with customers

  • Proactively notified customers of changes in order status. Follow-up on outstanding issues, and take ownership for customer satisfaction

  • Maintain customer service and build good relationships with customers to fulfil their requirements through prompt response via email, phone and video-conference

  • Develop and maintain the ongoing collaborative relationship with the functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met

  • Manage return process, including investigation

  • Drive continuous improvements in daily operations and standard operating procedures

Qualification / requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent

  • Proven experience in customer service environment

  • Order entry experience is essential

  • Knowledge of SAP is essential

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and written skills as well as ability to interface with all levels of customers and internal cross functions

  • Similar experience within a Chemical Manufacturing Company is desirable
