About our Team

The Data & Analytics team’s mission is to help our people understand and leverage data to enable a data focussed culture. We support and collaborate with Data and Analytics Centres of Excellence (CoE) across the business to ensure the D&A solutions and capabilities are cohesive, adopted, and well understood. We serve as a key advocate and change agent for an Elsevier-wide data focused culture, for both analytics and analytics consumers.

About the Role

Join our team where you'll shape narratives, empower analysts, and drive a data-centric culture. As a key player, you'll craft compelling content, foster expertise, and collaborate across teams to innovate. Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming data into actionable insights?

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, prioritizing and maintaining all Analytics content, encompassing user guides, learning materials, and best practice documentation.

  • Designing learning strategies and pathways tailored for Data Analysts, addressing both technical proficiency and analytical skills

  • Creating End User Data Engagement pathways, including content creation, communication strategy development, and ongoing management.

  • Collaborating with the Head of E&E to devise a strategic communications blueprint encompassing all Elsevier Enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives

  • Establishing and owning internal branding and tone for E&E, while facilitating consistent Team Branding rollout in D&A

  • Requirements

  • Be an exceptional communicator - a proven capacity to engage in impactful conversations across diverse audiences. Proficient in communicating effectively at all levels, adeptly navigating varying degrees of technical expertise. Skilled in translating complex technical information into compelling, business-focused messages that resonate with stakeholders and drive value.

  • Have expertise in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging change management principles to inspire, empower, and align

  • Have excellent experience in driving sustainable organizational transformation.

  • Experience of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and experience working in a complex, matrix international environment.
