Job Overview:
The Data Analyst is part of the Global People Services (GPS) group’s HR Governance & Digital Process (GDP) Team in Makati that ensures data integrity throughout all systems, provides routine oversight of critical data, reports, data visualization, and internal/external audits.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting dashboards and trackers, and requires strong knowledge of dashboard design and advanced data visualization, automated reporting applications, and backend data documentation. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to analyze and explore structured and unstructured data; provide analysis to assure data quality, reliability, and integrity; provide support to Global People Services (GPS) team in creating data integrity plans for improvement.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and interpret data results or data trends using statistical techniques
Provide ongoing reports and maintain dashboards to accurately monitor GPS SSC and other HR stakeholders’ metrics/ KPIs/ operational performance
Routinely examine data reports; analyze metrics to identify exceptions, erroneous data, and trends for alignment and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain other applications for data tracking/repository (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query)
Communicate data analysis results and escalate identified critical business issues
Collaborate with team members to improve or define new process improvement opportunities
Work with team for process development and documentation
Participate in onboarding a new GDP member
Assist with data migrations
Assist with validation/ testing activities
Perform related duties as required
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong working experience as a report or data analyst (1-2 years of experience)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in MS Office suite applications, preferably with intermediate MS Excel skills
Experience in data visualization using Tableau or Power BI
Exposure to shared services or BPO or ITO or HRO (Human Resource Outsourcing)
Good interpersonal skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Familiarity with Agile methodology or other project management practices
Strong knowledge in OTBI reporting or SAP
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft or similar ATS/HRIS knowledge
Familiarity with ticket management system/ ticket tool (SNOW)
Experience in database query or programming languages (e.g. SQL)
Working knowledge in Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power Query
Ability to conduct training
