Required Skills:

Product Design Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Meta products.

  2. Cultivate a healthy design process for the team, and be a key contributor to product strategy.

  3. Effectively communicate product goals (within and outside the team), and connect related projects across the company so that problems or joint decisions can be resolved quickly.

  4. Hire, mentor and manage a design team that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across the different design skill sets.

  5. Manage overall team performance and health, resource allocation, project prioritization, and build a culture of design excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interactive Design, Digital Communication Arts, Visual Design, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a product design or graphics design-related occupation. Requires 60 months of experience in the following:

    1. Managing and mentoring teams in highly matrixed organizations
    1. Interaction design and visual design, including how these elements impact product function
    1. Working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
    1. Leading product direction and strategic thinking with the ability to develop product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
    1. Working with research and data to drive decision making.

Public Compensation:

$250,486/year to $266,420/year + bonus + equity + benefits
