American International Tooling is actively hiring for a Quality Assurance/Control Inspector. We have experienced unprecedented growth and require qualified applicants. We are located in Minden, NV. This is a full-time, day-shift position generally working Monday-Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. General Summary A Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for checking the incoming and outgoing products for the company by conducting tests using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Checks dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Be proficient in the operation of various micrometers, height gauges, calipers, Keyence measuring equipment, and CMM.
  • Test manufactured products to assure conformance with requirements and specifications.
  • Test new parts to evaluate adaptation to companys products.
  • Perform quality tests on products and prepare specification test reports.
  • Ensure a first article, in-process and final inspection is performed on each production run.
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
  • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
  • Removing products that dont meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
  • Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.
  • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
  • Proposing improvements to the production process.
  • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discarding any that does not meet requirements.
  • Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training.
  • Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
