RBC Field Marketing Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Marketing Specialist is instrumental in providing marketing support and recommendations to RBC WealthManagement financial advisors and their teams. The Marketing Specialist partners with financial advisors and their teams todevelop and lead strategic plans which includes digital materials and printed collateral that will help attract new clients and expand and retain existing client relationships. The role focuses on the specific, unique needs and business goals of their assigned division and projects while providing effective service and promoting new initiatives and best practices. What will you do? Work directly with financial advisors and teams via phone and email to answer questions, initiate projects, and provide proactive guidance regarding marketing strategy, programs, technology, resources and best practices. Interface with marketing design, compliance, and internal partners to ensure the timely andsuccessful creation of field marketing projects. Establish a thorough understanding of business and marketing opportunities in assigned division. Promote marketing programs with a digital first mindset and drive towards shared adoption goals. Assess the effectiveness of marketing materials and share results and best practices. Support efficiency and scalability objectives by developing and driving clients to personalized templated solutions, where appropriate. Regularly communicate trends in requests, ideas and issues to the team. Advocate for advisor needs and circulate field feedback with internal partners What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's degree (preferably marketing, advertising, communications, or related field) or equivalent work experience. 4+ years marketing experience Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate many projects simultaneously, often with competingpriorities, tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders. Ability to learn new systems quickly and independently. Knowledge of financial products and services. Demonstrated experience contributing to the success of marketing strategies and programs. Proven dedication to and focus on client service and satisfaction. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct, motivate and persuade clients. Editing and proofreading skills with careful attention todetail Self-starter who is able to make decisions independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
