Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AVIATION RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1891000 and is part of the 107TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As an Aviation Resource Management Specialist, GS-2101-09, you will plan, implement, and control all operational administrative aspects of aircrew resource management, aircrew training, aircrew incentive pay, various Air Force forms, Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) control, ARMS interfaces, operational reports, technical guidance, and training of assigned aviation resource management personnel. This is accomplished through the: interpreting and administering of laws and regulations; directing, controlling, and monitoring the resource and training requirements of assigned rated and non rated aircrew for mission accomplishment and safety of flight; and serving as the overall ARMS database manager, analyst, and administrator for the Wing. As required, the position periodically performs Flight Services Specialist duties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training in arranging or procuring transportation for personnel, cargo or freight. Experience in pre and post auditing of freight bills, bills of lading, and personnel transportation vouchers. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. *For positions requiring supervisory functions; experience which included responsibility for the supervision and management of personnel. Education Education requirements - Not applicable for this position Additional Information Recruitment, Retention, and Relocation Incentive may be authorized up to 25% of base pay for a max of 4 years pending TAG approval. Relocation costs are authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest. Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service).
