Job Title: Senior Specialist, Material Management (Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 1-2 Days Per Week)

Plans, schedules and monitors the cost accounts for direct labor and material for supply chain scope. Implements budgetary cost and lead-time targets for procurements. Analyzes actual material and labor cost and performance against the planned and proposed outcomes. Maintain logs pertaining to action plans, assumptions, and justifications pertaining to risks associated with cost and schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Select the most economic order quantity that matches the program requirements and needs for cost, schedule, and quality.

  • Utilize scope, schedule, and budgets in integrated approach to assess program performance.

  • Earned Value Management.

  • Budgeting & Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • Experience working with Bills of Material (BOM’s).

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

  • Experience utilizing MRP in production environment.

  • Experience being accountable for budget and variance reporting.

  • Experience with project management principles

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with lean six sigma principles.

  • Understands the basic administrative scope of buying and contracting, purchase orders, return to vendor (RTV), terms and conditions, accounts payable reconciliation.

  • Certified PMP Project Manager; Broad knowledge of project management principles.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified; Advanced understanding of lean principles and experience in application of tools and processes

  • MRP experience electronics production environment with familiarity of bills of material.

  • Understands the basics and best practices pertaining to configuration management for hardware and documents.

  • Regression Analysis & Demand Estimation Models.

  • Budgetary variance analysis experience with understanding of the financial.

  • Inventory Control, cycle counting, data analysis.
