Description:

  • Job Title : AniCura Market P&O Head

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of progressive P&O and/or leadership experience

  • Reports To : General Manager, dotted line to P&O Head of Business Partnering

  • Direct Team Members : 3 to 9 FTE – market size dependent (TA, L&D, Administration Team, and P&O Partners)

  • Location : Norway

  • Education : HR degree or equivalent education, training, and experience

  • Language : English

    Scope of the position

  • Partners with GM and Market Leadership team and senior leaders to develop and deploy effective people agenda aligned with the AniCura/Mars Veterinary Health strategic framework.

  • Focuses on business and associate challenges and serves as a valued advisor by anticipating needs and trends and identifying effective fit-for-purpose P&O solutions that best support the Market needs and position Associates for success in partnership with P&O COEs.

  • Act as the voice of the market into P&O COEs and pro-actively engages in shaping new products and services with AniCura group P&O.

  • Secures the success of the Market through establishing and maintaining solid foundations within P&O systems, talent, workforce planning, wellbeing, leadership, and culture in close collaboration with P&O CoEs.

  • Champions talent management processes to ensure the health of the Market leadership pipeline; identifies and addresses capability gaps and key talent needs with a focus on representation within leadership roles.

  • Coaches senior leaders in building business and leadership capabilities.

  • Acts as role model Leader and Line Manager, ensuring high engagement and performance. Lives the Great Line Management (GLM) concept within self and team and consistently demonstrates the 5 principles.

  • Builds a strong and highly efficient operational P&O organization within the market in order to enable business results through leaders.

  • Ensures proper management of any employee representation within the country.

  • Participates as a member of the board of directors for all relevant entities in the respective market.

  • Manage P&O budget and investments, and in collaboration with Market CFO co-lead the budgeting process for people related market costs.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing strategies at enterprise level.

  • Worked at senior levels across different segments and/or industries.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Strong consulting and coaching skills, ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome.

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and prioritize business needs and resources.

  • Strong people leader (experienced in building high achieving teams & developing them).

  • Excellent command in verbal and written English language.
