We're seeking a future team member for the role of Tax Operations Strategy, VIce President to join our Global Custody Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, hybrid role minimally 3 days in office. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Coordinates and leads significant tax regulatory changes, platform changes and new business initiatives. Analyzes and defines business requirements and functional or operational specifications. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Able to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders effectively to achieve all program objectives. Sets achievable timelines for programs and drives others to achieve Able to actively remove blockers, present solutions to functional problems and program obstacles. Proactively escalate project plan changes and potential risks through status reporting. Able to think strategically. Solution problems with Client experience in mind. Able to challenge current processes to increase scalability and reduce risk. Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems. Tasks include case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution. Identifies areas for improvement and works with technology teams to improve applications for business use. Oversees small team of Operations strategy analysts. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelors degree in a business discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of total work experience and 0-1 years of management experience preferred. Ability to collaborate across multiple groups and locations in a matrixed organization is required. Innovative mindset with process improvement experience required. Tax or Income knowledge, education, and/or experience is preferred. Knowledge of JIRA, user story creation, and business requirements documentation is preferred. Prior experience with data and/or business analysis and/or project management is preferred. Leadership experience preferred (minimally 2 years) At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
