As an Employee Relations Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the People team community, providing expertise in preventing and resolving workplace issues that interfere with our positive workplace environment and culture. You will be responsible for managing all types of employee relations cases, including performance management, investigations, conduct issues, organizational change and leave/accommodations. You will work across the People team and business to ensure we continue to have a workplace environment that creates career defining experiences as employees achieve more than they ever thought possible. You will play a key part in ensuring that our workplace is safe, treats employees with fairness and respect, and enables every employee to achieve their personal best.

Your Impact

  • Provide strategic guidance to leaders and PBPs on sensitive employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, interpersonal conflicts, leaves and accommodations

  • Conduct investigations into complex and nuanced employment matters - Partner with PBPs, Legal and other parties to adhere to investigative best practices, reaching the optimal outcomes for our organization and employees

  • Drive workforce change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that communication is effective, risk is mitigated, and that leaders and employees are supported through the process

  • Use HR analytics and data to identify trends, diagnose issues and make data-driven recommendations to the leadership team and People team colleagues

  • Support internal projects and initiatives as needed

  • Act as an advocate for equitable and fair treatment - ensure our practices continue to align to our company’s core values - Disrupt, Execute, Inclusion, Collaboration, Integrity

Your Experience

  • A minimum of five years of employee relations experience gained in either an HRBP or employee relations advisory role, or equivalent experience as an employment attorney practicing employment law

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence, and ability to build trust, rapport and influence across all levels of the company

  • Experience conducting investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves/accommodations, and behavioral/ conduct issues

  • Demonstrated experience executing on change management programs, with the ability to set priorities, stay focused, and manage time in a fast paced environment

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with ability to organize and analyze data, and a passion for using data and insights to make a positive impact on the business

  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance and ER best practice

  • Track record of effectively coaching leaders to action in sensitive or ambiguous situations

  • Preferred-Legal degree, Global employee relations experience, Project management experience or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $124,100/yr to $200,750/yr.
