The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Help teams to accelerate cloud adoption for optimization and innovation by identifying and providing guidance and best practices.

  • Play a key role in the team implementing Equinor’s cloud and modernization strategy.

  • Collaboration with development, infrastructure and operational teams to ensure an aligned overall architecture and product managers to define scope, time lines, deliverables and present proposals to stakeholders.

  • Explore and experiment with cloud industry development and trends.

  • Contribute to optimizing of cloud spending and standardization to ensure cost-effective, secure and compliant adoption.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or other relevant disciplines, relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.

  • 5+ years of experience within advanced knowledge of public cloud services.

  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable, and high-availability cloud architectures consuming Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

  • Passion for Software development, automation, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

  • Ability to build relations, trust and collaboration with a broad range of people across the company.

  • Curiousity to learn new trends and innovations in cloud technologies.
