About RCM RCM is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our client's growing team in Branchburg, NJ. This full-time contract position offers a competitive salary of up to $45 per hour and the opportunity to play a vital role in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical (API) manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to ensure the smooth operation and compliance of our client's manufacturing processes. You will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain critical systems, and collaborate with various departments to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert technical support to Manufacturing, QA, QC, and other departments. This includes troubleshooting and maintaining computerized instruments, workstations, software solutions, and offering on-call service as needed.

  • User Management: Administer and maintain user account access for lab and manufacturing systems, ensuring adherence to security protocols.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Independently author clear and concise job aids and knowledge articles to document system administration procedures.

  • Validation and Implementation: Assist or take primary responsibility for executing installation validation protocols (IVIs) during system implementation.

  • System Optimization: Proactively identify and rectify system flaws related to connectivity, security, and system integration.

  • Performance Maintenance: Perform periodic maintenance tasks to optimize the performance of qualified systems and prevent downtime.

  • Critical Incident Support: Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and project initiatives impacting production.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in a Windows OS environment, including Secure Desktop functionalities.

  • Working experience with PowerShell scripting.

  • Prior experience working within a GMP-regulated environment and understanding of basic GMP concepts.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.

  • A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
