As our PreSales Engineer (Application Specialist in internal terms), you’ll be in charge of application feasibility analyses & providing solutions for laser marking in a wide range of applications. You’ll be also acting as a technical support for our end users of laser marking systems.

What you will do:

  • Perform application feasibility analyses for sales opportunities. Check the quality of the marking defined by the customer to determine the feasibility, required equipment, and required setup to achieve the objectives for the Coding & Marking Solutions

  • Supply high quality technical Sample & Feasibility reports with complete descriptions of solutions including benefits and weaknesses of each solution tested

  • Adjusting, calibrating, setting optical components of laser marking systems

  • Technical support for Solaris Laser business partners and end-users in the operating of laser marking systems

  • Technical support in troubleshooting problems related to operating laser marking systems

  • Diagnostic of the problems and providing solution for end-user

  • Providing timely and accurate customer feedback

  • Support for pre-sales and final installation of laser marking systems on production line at customer site

  • Providing training in the operation, installation, and maintenance of laser marking systems for Solaris business partners and end-users

    What you need to have:

  • Degree in Engineering or 3 plus years previous experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Hands on experience working with technical equipment.

  • Experience in tech support, desktop support or a similar role

  • Experience in field service would be an advantage.

  • Manual skills (operation of simple tools)

  • Experience or interest in optical or laser systems is an advantage.

  • Availability for business travels within the country as well as abroad

  • English at least B2 level

  • Cat. B. Driving license
