Duties and Responsibilites

Operate heavy equipment: Directional drills, locators, excavators, bucket trucks, digger derricks/line trucks, boom trucks, trenchers, skid steers, dump trucks, semi-truck and trailer, large bucket trucks

• Setting up equipment for daily use
• Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
• Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
• Report safety hazards within the work environment
• Use heavy machinery to complete a task
• Posses a valid drivers license, preferred CDL
• Travel within the State of Kansas
• Complete and turn in required personal paperwork
• Abide by all company safety rules
• Wear proper PPE while on the job sit and in the yard:
  • safety toed work boots, safety vest, work gloves and hard hat
